8 hour road trip to chicago this summer, to meet 'long distance boyfriend'?

LONG STORY, SHORT: Last summer, i met this really cute kid while we were both on vacation. we live 16 hrs from each other. we hung out one night and both felt a very crazy deep connection. we got each others numbers and never really stopped talking. i got my drivers license and now were both are capable of driving and are talking about meeting in Chicago because he has family there, and we can stay with them ANY OPINIONS, THOUGHTS, CONCERNS? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THIS?

here's a longer version of what happened..im not sure if everyone wanted to read all this so i made a short version as well.
LONG STORY: Last summer, i was vacationing in Minneapolis MN with family. I was just hanging out at the pool when i was approached by these two cute boys. (i'm 16 btw) so we were talking for a little, then one of them got my cell phone number. then i had to go up to my room to eat with my family, i told them when i finished eating i would come back down and swim with them. (i'm from pittsburgh, they're from sauk, two hrs away from Minneapolis)
so i ate, then went and hung out with them some more. but then they had to go back up to their rooms. so later that night we were texting and decided to hang out..so me and one of the boys (tyler) were hanging out. and i swear ive never felt so close and connected to someone as i did that night.
i dont know if it was because what we did was so spontaneous and on the edge or what. but we really had great chemistry and i really felt like a deep connection with him (please no stupid remarks, i know im only 16 but seriously...)
so anyways we came back to our hometowns went on with life. but never really stopped talking. we would always talk on the phone saying we love each other and blahblahbalh.

so now we both have our drivers licenses..and half way between us is chicago. and we can both drive 8 hours to chicago and stay for however long. im thinking we can go this summer?

what does everyone think about it..?!? please give any opinions!
